The Lakme K20 Recover treatment is an in-salon repair treatment that rebuilds strength and moisture in damaged, dry or over-processed hair. At Iron + Ivy Hair Studio in Queenstown it is from $65 on its own, or $90 paired with Olaplex as the Ultimate Repair Combo.
It combines the K20 Recover Mist, a lightweight protein hydration, with the K20 Restore Mask for deep conditioning. Hair feels softer, looks glossier and holds colour better. It is added at the basin, so it fits inside any colour, cut or blow dry appointment.

They do different jobs. Olaplex works inside the hair during lightening, relinking the bonds that bleach breaks. K20 works on strength and moisture after the fact, with protein and nutrients. If you are lightening, Olaplex is included. If your hair is dry, frizzy or tired between colour visits, K20 is the one. If it is both, the Ultimate Repair Combo at $90 is cheaper than the two apart.
