A keratin treatment is a semi-permanent smoothing service that infuses keratin protein into the hair shaft, then seals it with heat. The result is smoother, shinier, more manageable hair with significantly reduced frizz, lasting anywhere from 2–5 months depending on the treatment and hair type.
How Does It Work?
The treatment is applied to clean hair, left to absorb for a set time, then blow-dried and sealed with a flat iron at high heat. This process creates a protective layer around each hair strand, smoothing the cuticle and locking out humidity.

Can I wash my hair straight after a keratin treatment?
With Cezanne and Nanoplasty, yes. There is no 72-hour wait and you can tie your hair up the same day. That restriction belonged to the old formaldehyde treatments.
Will a keratin treatment make my hair poker straight?
Only if you want it to. Cezanne softens frizz and loosens curl while keeping movement; Nanoplasty can be applied for a straighter or a smoother-curl result. Tell your artist which you want at the consultation.
Can I colour my hair and have a keratin treatment?
Yes. Do the colour first and the smoothing treatment about two weeks later, or ask us to plan both. Smoothing treatments actually help colour last by sealing the cuticle.
